The BB10m Association was established on February 17, 1979 at a general assembly in Nyborg, Denmark. The association, which today has 86 members of whom 10 come from outside Denmark, is a special club under Dansk Sejlunion. Its objective is to maintain the BB10m-boat as a uniform, economic racing and family boat with the best possibilities for equal and fair competition. Each year an open Danish Championship (DM) regatta is arranged. Ever since the start of the yacht club in 1979 there has been a quite stable participation of between 20 and 25 boats in the races and often boats from Sweden and Germany have joined.
